Always use well-known, trusted websites for online shopping.

Use secure sites and platforms:
Never buy anything online using your credit card from a site that doesn't have SSL (secure sockets layer) installed. You can learn if the site has SSL because the URL for the site will start with HTTPS—instead of just HTTP.

Use strong password:
Make sure your password consists of upper / lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. It should be easy for you to remember and hard for others to guess.

Don’t save your payment details:
Keep your credit / debit card details safe and don’t save them on the browser nor on the online shopping website.

Use a password manager:
Use a special password manager (usually an antivirus solution shipped with one is a safe place) to keep your passwords and payment details instead of inserting them manually every time.

Activate two factor authentication / two-step verification:
Ensure you activate two factor authentication on your online shopping accounts.

Use biometrics:
Make sure to use biometrics (Fingerprint, face recognition…etc.) wherever possible.

Keep your business email ID for work related purposes to protect your company’s privacy.
