Dukhan Bank Named Best Islamic Digital Bank in Qatar 2026 by Global Finance
Recognition highlights the Bank’s continued advancement of customer-focused, Sharia-compliant digital banking
Dukhan Bank has been named Best Islamic Digital Bank in Qatar 2026 by Global Finance as part of its World’s Best Islamic Digital Bank Awards, recognizing the Bank’s continued progress in delivering innovative, accessible, and customer-focused digital banking solutions.
The award was presented at Global Finance’s World’s Best Digital Bank & AI in Finance Awards Ceremony 2026, held on October 13 in Singapore, bringing together leading financial institutions and industry representatives from around the world.
The recognition reflects Dukhan Bank’s ongoing digital transformation and its focus on using technology to simplify customer journeys while maintaining the security, reliability, and Sharia-compliant principles at the core of its banking services.
Among the developments supporting the Bank’s digital transformation is Qatar’s first QDI-integrated digital onboarding kiosk. Available 24/7 at the Bank’s headquarters in Lusail, the self-service kiosk uses real-time identity verification through biometric authentication and secure data validation, enabling customers to open an account through a fully digital and paperless journey within minutes and receive their bank card instantly through on-site printing. Dukhan Bank also offers Instant Finance, enabling eligible customers to complete online credit bureau checks and eligibility assessment digitally, without lengthy paperwork or repeated branch visits, and receive finance on the same day.
Global Finance selects winners based on criteria including the strength of their digital strategy, customer adoption and growth, breadth of product offerings, tangible benefits delivered through digital initiatives, and the design and functionality of their web and mobile platforms.
The latest recognition further reinforces Dukhan Bank’s position as one of Qatar’s leading financial institutions and its continued commitment to combining Sharia-compliant banking principles with customer-focused digital innovation.
